At support meetings, the customer and social worker aim to find new skills, resources and means for dealing with everyday life, parenthood or, for example, a challenging situation in life. Relatives or friends of the family or employees can also book an appointment for a support meeting to think about ways to support the family’s resources and, as a result, the interested party’s well-being in the family. Support meetings are confidential and usually organised as either single appointments or as series of 2–5 appointments. The objective and location of the support meetings are always agreed upon together.
