Therapy can be planned as a short-term treatment, whereupon the number of appointments, usually scheduled once a week, ranges between 10 and 20. The ability to approach the issue intensively and actively makes brief therapy a very effective form of therapy.
The duration of psychotherapy varies according to the patients’ needs. At the first appointment, the patient’s situation is discussed and the psychotherapist assesses the need for therapy. Based on the assessment, the therapist plans the appropriate treatment, after which the therapist and patient agree on follow-up measures.
